Ray Eames was a design and life partner to her husband Charles Eames. They are among the most important American designers of the 20th century. The Eames design duo were responsible for groundbreaking contributions in the field of architecture, furniture design, industrial design, manufacturing and the photographic arts. Ray Eames had a sense for form and color and is largely responsible for what is recognized as the Eames "look".
